The students at AHGS earned their PBIS reward party for second quarter. The kindergarten through 4th graders were asked to help reduce trash around the building and the 5th through 6th graders were asked to be aware of hallway behaviors when traveling between classes. Both groups met their goal. As a result not only does our building look nicer and students are quieter in the halls, but they also got to celebrate with a day of winter games and snacks. The committee prepared snowman marshmallow snacks, hot cocoa, indoor snowball fights, and board games. The kids and staff had a great time! Be watching for our 3rd quarter challenge! We are asking students to focus on the importance of attendance. We are tracking attendance each day. Everyday our student attendance is at 96% we earn a letter to a hidden phrase. When the hidden phrase is unveiled then students will earn their quarterly party! There are also incentives to each classroom and our staff for perfect attendance! Keep up the great work AHGS!
