Good afternoon,
Our students involved in our fine arts programs are busier than ever right now. On Sunday, our concert band will be traveling to Millikin University to perform with Millikin’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble. The concert is at 4 p.m at the Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Coming up in March we have Solo & Ensemble contest, Saturday, March 7th then the school play, March 14 and 15, and finally Dessert Theater, March 21st. What a fantastic month!
The end of the third quarter is Friday, March 6th. We will hand out report cards to students on Friday, March 13th. These will also be posted in Skyward for you to access. Please call the office if you have any questions.
Make sure you mark your calendar -- we added a day off to our spring calendar! Spring break now runs from Wednesday, March 25th through Monday, March 30th. Students return on Tuesday, March 31st!

Sunday, March 1st
ALAH Band at Millikin - This Concert is FREE and open to the public at 4:00 pm in Kirkland Fine Arts Center at Millikin University. Student Information:10:45 - Meet at ALAH with music, instrument, and Concert Black clothes packed into a bag. We will eat lunch, rehearse, and change into Concert Black before the Concert begins at 4:00 pm. After Concert - Students may leave with their parents once they sign out with Mr. Wood.
