Dear Parents,
We will begin our IAR (Illinois Assessment of Readiness) testing next week with our 3rd, 4th, and 8th graders. By working together, we can make your child’s test experience positive and successful. Here are some suggestions that you can do to help your child prepare for these assessments:
Make sure your child gets a good night’s rest
Have your child eat a healthy breakfast
Make sure your child arrives at school on time
Gently encourage your child to do their best.
It is extremely important that your child be in attendance during testing times. I have listed the testing times below so you can help ensure your child is in attendance.
