Good morning ALAH Families,

This week’s update is a little shorter.  Your student should have received a link to sign up for a time to return their school materials as well as clean out their lockers, pick up their PE uniforms, art projects, etc.  We had to adjust the dates as we are being allowed to have an outdoor drive through graduation for our seniors.  Freshman, sophomores and juniors may sign up for a 10 minute time period on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday next week. (Seniors have sign up times for Monday, May 18th.)  Only students are allowed in the building and all students must wear masks.  They will enter through the gym foyer doors and exit at the circle drive.  Thank you for helping to follow our guidelines so everyone is able to stay safe.

Freshmen, sophomores and juniors are receiving a form to sign if they would like to keep their Chromebook over the summer. Every student must complete the form to tell us their plan.  If they are not keeping it, it should be returned with their other school materials next week.  Seniors are allowed to purchase their Chromebooks for $50.  They may bring this cash or check to the office when they return their books, gowns, etc. on Monday, May 18th.

We still have students that need to complete coursework before May 15th. Faculty and staff are working to update Skyward with missing assignment information for you. When you log into your student’s account and click on the “grades” icon, if your student has missing assignments, there will be a red link called “missing assignments”.  Click on this link for a full list of missing assignments.  RL stands for Remote Learning.  Pay no attention to the semester letter grade or percentage.  Remember this semester will be Pass or Incomplete.  If your student earns an incomplete for this semester, they must make up the work when we return or they will not earn the credit for the course. Encourage them to do the work now.  Please call the office next week with questions.

Parents of Juniors, unfortunately the state still has not released information about the SAT.  I’m hoping it will be soon.
