And we are off … tonight our beloved HS Boys Basketball team is on the road to take on the Tuscola Warriors. JV starts at 6 pm and Varsity at 7:30 pm. There are numerous rules that must be followed in order to help keep everyone safe and they are nothing short of challenging. But it’s a start and we are excited to cheer on the Knights, even if it is from afar! The only fans allowed in person must have tickets. So power up those screens and cheer from home as you catch the game on the NFHS Network - subscriptions may be purchased by the month ($10.99/mo) or annually ($69.99/yr). Or join us as we live stream on our Facebook page @ArthurCUSD#305. Remember, athletic schedules are changing frequently right now. If you are the parent of a junior, please check your email for information regarding our plans for SAT prep. We are 13 short weeks away from April 13th and starting our new SAT prep plan next week!
I have invited each senior student to take a few minutes to meet with me. I am talking to them about graduation and the end of the year. We want to know what is important to them along with any ideas they might have for the end of the year activities under our current guidelines. We are working to make sure that the celebrations fit what is most important to them. If you are the parent of a senior, please remind them to make time to meet with me next week.
Next week the annual 5 Essential Survey will be sent out. We would love for you to take a few minutes and answer the questions. Your responses are anonymous. We use this information to improve and make ALAH the best it can be. The state also uses your responses in our school report card data. What does this really mean? We need your input. It’s important!
