To the Class of 2021: Class of 2021, I am proud of you for so many things and I have learned so much from you during this past year. As we wrap up this school year and you prepare yourselves for the next step in your lives, I wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude and appreciation for you all. Our journey together actually started in August of 2019 when you were beginning your Junior year and I was beginning my journey as your new Superintendent. The last two years have been memorable for the obvious reason of navigating the pandemic, but I want to focus on why you have made these last two years memorable for myself and our communities. Take a journey with me down memory lane for a moment and reflect back to March of 2020 when school and life changed. Without warning you were asked to reinvent yourself and reinvent the way you went about your daily life. School was turned upside down and life as we previously knew it was changing. You finished out the school year remotely and that looked so much different than normal and probably looked different from class to class. Summer came and instead of breathing a sigh of relief for some down time, you were all hit with the stressors of the unknown and the fear of what your Senior year was going to look like. Summer of 2020 wrapped up and you were now faced with more challenges and more adaptations that you didn’t ask for and probably were not thrilled with to start your Senior year. Terms that were new earlier in the year were unfortunately now becoming common nomenclature. Terms like social distancing, pandemic, remote learning, quarantine, and contact tracing were now more and more of our common language. You were also asked to go to school on a shortened schedule while still learning as much as before. You were asked to attend school without some of the most fun activities we have to offer as those were also put on hold. Once activities were allowed to resume they were resumed with many restrictions. This included limiting the number of spectators who could attend and celebrate the awesome performances and the many talents that all of you possess and displayed. Even our most celebrated event of the year, graduation, is being affected despite the positive trends we are seeing related to the pandemic. I asked you to take that journey with me down memory lane, not to point out all the negative things you have had to endure the past two years, but actually quite the opposite. Although some of the challenges I previously mentioned were very frustrating and we would have preferred to not endure them, you persevered and showed your true character and strength as you reached the finish line. I have learned more from you in those two years and for that I am forever grateful. I have witnessed compassion towards others, grace, determination, patience and positive leadership and these characteristics and values have been sustained over the past two years. You are well aware of the challenges you have been faced with and had to overcome, but I hope that you will take some time and reflect on all the positive attributes that you have gained. You have taken all the adversity that has been thrown at you and conquered it. You have emerged on the other side stronger. The easy thing to do would have been to complain or even give up and quit. You decided to choose the hard road and face those challenges head on. Without your leadership and dedication to making the best of the situation we would not have been able to accomplish all that we did this school year and I am so proud. So I will close with this final thought and that is related to your place in this world moving ahead. The world is going to be in good hands. I am confident that you are going to take the lead and provide the next generation the model for what it takes to not only persevere but thrive in the most difficult of times. You are an inspiration and I am extremely grateful to have been able to call myself your Superintendent. Thank you and good luck! Mr. Shannon Cheek Superintendent Arthur CUSD #305

March 12, 2021 Dear CUSD 305 Parents, Students and Staff: Hello everyone and welcome to the end of the week. I wanted to take a moment and share some good news with you regarding the school year and our most updated COVID numbers. Total number of students in the district: 1073 Number of in-person learners: 991 Number of full-time remote learners: 82 Total number of staff: 151 Number of students currently quarantined: 16 Number of students in quarantine due to positive test: 0 Number of staff in quarantine due to positive test: 0 Number of staff in quarantine due to close contact: 1 Number of positive in-person student cases (since the start of school): 70 Number of known positive staff cases (since the start of school): 21 As you can see from the information above our numbers have drastically improved as they relate to positive cases as well as staff and students that are quarantined due to close contact. The journey has been a rocky one for sure but it’s so nice to finally be able to deliver you all some good news. Another huge bit of positive news is that we are able to allow our students and athletes to compete in the activities they love. Although things still look different for many of those activities, I am so grateful to be able to watch those activities, listen to the students talk about their participation in those activities and witness the positive energy throughout the schools as a result of the reinstatement of those activities. Grateful and appreciative are the two words that instantly come to mind. It’s hard to believe that roughly one year ago this month our schools were shut down. We have adapted, changed, reinvented the school day, revamped schedules and have implemented countless changes since that time and I’m proud to say that we have not only endured, but actually have improved as a result. Many words come to mind as a reason why and some are listed: partnership, cooperation, together, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, dedication, etc. The list could go on and on but ultimately it’s because we have dedicated teachers, students, parents, communities and leaders that do what’s best for kids and I’m proud to be a part of that team. Thank you for everything and have a wonderful weekend. It’s a great day to be a Knight! Sincerely, Mr. Shannon Cheek Superintendent

Dear Arthur CUSD #305 students, staff and families, Good morning/afternoon/evening. I hope you have had a great week and are able to soak in some of these sunny warmer days. I think we are all ready for Spring and the promise of more warmth and sun! I wanted to take a moment and say thank you for all the support, patience and cooperation that you have all demonstrated dating back to last March. As I reflect and listen to the struggles that some districts statewide have experienced and continue to experience, I’m forever grateful that we have been able to forge ahead and continue to offer in-person learning for our students. I know that we have also had our challenges along the way but because of the continued support and dedication demonstrated daily to do what is best for our students we have been able to continue ahead and for that I am proud and grateful. It has also been wonderful to see our students be able to participate in our extracurricular activities again. Watching them compete and grow socially and emotionally has been an added bonus to this school year that we honestly were not sure they were going to be afforded the opportunity to do so. Finally, I wanted to extend one last thank everyone for their flexibility in accommodating our schedule change that starts on Monday. Monday we will be dismissing the grade schools at 2:00pm and the high school will dismiss at 1:47pm. As we were discussing the possibility of extending our school day by a half an hour, I consistently expressed to the staff how exciting and beneficial I think it is any time we can extend the amount of time our students are involved with the wonderful teachers and support staff here at Arthur CUSD 305. So, thank you for your continued flexibility and patience as we make another transition for the rest of the school year. I hope you enjoy this improved weather and have a great weekend. February 18, 2021 Dear CUSD 305 Parents, Students and Staff: Good morning/afternoon/evening. I am excited to reach out and share the news with all of you that after discussions with the Remote Learning Team and the Executive Union Representatives a recommendation was put forth at last night's board meeting and the board approved the recommendation to extend the school day ½ hour starting March 1st. The school day at each grade school will begin at 8am and students will be released at 2pm instead of the current time of 1:30pm. Also starting on March 1st, the high school will start at 8am and release at 1:47pm. Again, we are grateful for the collaboration and cooperation with the both the Remote Learning Team and the Executive Union Representatives that helped make this decision possible. We are all excited to have the opportunity to extend our time with all the students. We are also very appreciative of the flexibility, understanding and grace that our families, students, teachers, administrators and communities have shown during these trying and challenging times. Without the cooperation and support of all involved the success of the in person learning we have experienced this school year would not have been possible. You should expect follow up communications from your student’s Principal related to any additional scheduling or logistical changes that may occur related to the changes discussed above. Again, thank you for the opportunity to serve your students and have a great rest of the week and weekend. Sincerely, Mr. Shannon Cheek Superintendent

Dear Arthur CUSD #305 students and families, We are in the fourth week of second semester and I wanted to reach out and provide a few updates on our COVID numbers, the Task Force (Facilities Update) and a brief update related to athletics and extracurriculars moving forward. Listed below are the current numbers related to COVID. Total number of students in the district: 1076 Number of in-person learners: 982 Number of full-time remote learners: 94 Total number of staff: 151 Number of students currently quarantined: 69 Number of students in quarantine due to positive test: 4 Number of staff in quarantine due to positive test: 2 Number of staff in quarantine due to close contact: 2 Number of positive in-person student cases (since the start of school): 61 Number of known positive staff cases (since the start of school): 18 As the numbers continue to trend in a positive direction statewide, I’m proud to mention again that our staff, students, parents and community need to be commended for their efforts. Through the cooperation of all parties mentioned we continue to be able to provide in-person learning for the majority of our students and for that we are very grateful. I also wanted to encourage you to visit our website and click on the CUSD 305 Facilities Planning link that is located both at the top of the district website and or in the menu section. The information provided dates back to last year when the district began to engage in a facilities study that would help design and develop a long term strategic plan for facilities. Currently this year, we have formed a Task Force that consists of Administrators, Board of Education members, teachers, parents and community members. The Task Force has started to discuss our facilities and soon will be assisting in the design and direction of taking that information and including a larger scope of individuals within the community. We are excited to continue the process and the links on the website will be updated regularly. The district website is www.cusd305.org. I hope the information that is posted there is informative. I don’t have a lot of information to necessarily share related to extracurriculars but did want to share what we currently know as of today. Many of you probably already know this, but we have been moved into Phase 4 which would allow us the opportunity to begin to participate in many of the extracurricular activities we offer. Mr. Seal has been working diligently to put together schedules, hire officials, organize practices and interpret guidelines that are being put forth by the IDPH. This is no small task and I commend Mr. Seal for his efforts and hardwork to provide our students and student athletes with the opportunities they deserve. We will continue to communicate those guidelines that are set forth once they have been officially established. In addition to the IDPH guidelines that need to be properly interpreted and implemented, the IHSA and the IESA are also communicating their recommendations for a safe return to play scenario. All of those guidelines have not been clearly communicated as of today. Once that information has been gathered, we will communicate moving forward. Your patience is appreciated during that process. Finally, I want to once again thank all involved for a successful first semester and a great start to the second semester. Without all of us working together and demonstrating patience, grace and trust we would have never been able to accomplish what we have this school year. Thanks for everything and Go Knights! Have a great rest of the week. Sincerely, Shannon Cheek Superintendent Arthur CUSD #305

Dear Arthur CUSD #305 students and families, We made it and I couldn’t be more proud of everyone for all that has been done to make sure our students were able to spend an entire semester in person! I’m so thankful and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to be surrounded with such dedicated educators and committed communities to make this past semester possible. Listed below are the final numbers for the end of first semester. Total number of students in the district: 1075 Number of in-person learners: 969 Number of full-time remote learners: 106 Total number of staff: 151 Number of students currently quarantined: 56 Number of students in quarantine due to positive test: 6 Number of staff in quarantine due to positive test: 2 Number of staff in quarantine due to close contact: 10 Number of positive in-person student cases (since the start of school): 48 Number of known positive staff cases (since the start of school): 12 It’s been mentioned before but is certainly worth mentioning again and that is how proud I am of everyone involved in making this semester possible. All of us have been asked to demonstrate a unique and increased level of flexibility, adaptability, cooperation, patience, grace, collaboration and compassion for others. Things haven’t always been smooth and there have been bumps in the road, but the level of support, cooperation and positivity that has been demonstrated has made those difficult transitions easier to navigate. We are going to continue with the same schedule for the second semester until at least the end of February. We will be meeting with the Administration, Remote Learning Team as well as other leadership within the district throughout the months of January and February to determine if any changes will be made past the end of February. We will continue to communicate any changes and will do our best to keep everyone informed moving forward. We appreciate your patience and continued flexibility as the pandemic has forced us to occasionally create modifications that require all of us to adapt and create changes in our schedules. I will close with a final extension of thanks and gratitude to all of you. It’s been a trying but also gratifying semester and I look forward to what next semester will bring. Although we cannot predict what that will look like I’m confident that with the dedication that the students, staff and communities continue to provide we will be able to overcome the obstacles that we may face. Thank you for a great semester and I hope you and your loved ones enjoy this holiday season. Sincerely, Shannon Cheek Superintendent Arthur CUSD #305

Dear Arthur CUSD #305 students and families, As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday break, I want to take a moment and send a message of thanks and gratitude. In normal years, visiting classrooms, interacting with the students and teachers and witnessing all the good that is occurring has been wonderful. However, COVID-19 has shaken everyone’s world and the positives that are occurring in our district can easily be overshadowed by the monumental challenges we all face. With all the challenges we have been faced with this school year, my message of thanks and gratitude is a little different this school year. I am so incredibly grateful for our teachers and support staff, who have adapted, reinvented, and modified how they operate and educate our students. I’m also grateful for the custodial and maintenance staff that have provided unselfish service to keep all of us safe and in person. Thank you to the cafeteria staff that have enhanced their safety protocols to ensure that our students are fed throughout the semester. To the parents, a special thank you for your adaptability, patience, grace and positivity throughout all of these challenges we have encountered since the end of last March. I also send a deep appreciation and thank you to the Administration in the district for their sacrifices, flexibility and unwavering dedication to providing the safest and most supportive environment for our staff and students throughout this pandemic. Finally, a huge shout out and thank you to our wonderful students. They have had to endure so many challenges and changes since last Spring and they have continued to adapt and in many cases thrive in the new learning environments created for them. I’m blessed to be able to serve them as their Superintendent. Although things haven’t been perfect, I’m proud of all of our communities for the patience, grace and dedication to the schools that have been demonstrated since the beginning of this challenging pandemic. I wish you all a restful, peaceful and safe Thanksgiving and look forward to what our amazing district accomplishes moving forward. I hope each of you can find gratitude and something you are thankful for this holiday season. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Sincerely, Shannon Cheek Superintendent Arthur CUSD #305

November 12, 2020 Dear CUSD 305 Parents, Students and Staff: Good morning/afternoon/evening. First and foremost I want to continue to express how grateful I am that we are able to continue to provide our students in-person learning and the experiences that come with that. Yesterday was just another amazing display of what our staff and students can do together as they had to pivot and plan for a non-traditional Veteran’s Day celebration due to the restrictions we are under related to COVID. I’ve said it before and it never gets old repeating it, I’m grateful and proud to be the Superintendent of such a great district. Although it’s been said before, I need to stress again how important it is to begin to prepare for the possibility of full remote learning in the future. As cases continue to rise in the area, the chances of cases increasing dramatically in our schools is becoming more and more a reality. We are already struggling to find substitute teachers for staff and if the trend continues we will be forced into a full remote scenario based on a lack of staffing. This communication isn’t meant to create panic or worry, it’s only meant to be precautionary and informative. We will continue to fight and work as hard as we can to keep our staff and students in person and safe, but I wanted to remind everyone to please consider discussing and planning so that if we had to pivot to a remote scenario you are as prepared as possible. It feels as though the situation is changing and evolving by the minute, much like in March when schools were shut down by the State. It is highly likely that if a move to remote learning is imminent, it will take place with little notice, so we want all families to continue to think about that scenario for planning purposes. Finally, thank you to all the staff, students, parents and community for your support during these trying and difficult times. I’m proud that we have been able to forge ahead in a safe manner and provide the opportunities that students and communities deserve. Let’s continue to hope the trends get better and the reality of going full remote will not come to fruition. Thank you and have a great rest of the week and weekend. Sincerely, Mr. Shannon Cheek Superintendent

November 11, 2020 Dear CUSD 305 Parents, Students and Staff: Good morning/afternoon/evening. I wanted to take a moment today to celebrate some major accomplishments of our staff and students at the high school. The results of the SAT testing for the class of 2021 have been released and the growth and accomplishments of the students and staff need to be celebrated. As you may or may not be aware, the State of Illinois has mandated that all Juniors take the SAT exam as a part of their graduation requirement. The SAT exam is typically given in April of the students Junior year. This year’s Senior class (class of 2021) was not able to meet that requirement last year due to the pandemic and the mandatory stay at home order. In order to meet that requirement, the class of 2021 were required to complete the standardized test this school year. The accomplishment of the students, staff and administrators at the high school needs to be celebrated. Please keep in mind that the information below was accomplished with the school year being interrupted in March and the students also coming off of the Summer months with no review of materials during that time period. That’s what makes this information and celebration so special and worthy of mentioning. The SAT score is essentially derived from two components, an Evidence Based Reading and Writing Score and a Math Score. Those two scores combined provide the overall score for the student. I’m proud and excited to share that the class of 2021 has scored the highest score in school history since the State of Illinois enacted the mandated test. The class of 2021 achieved a combined score of 1013, which was 56 points higher than last year. This is a huge achievement considering the school year was interrupted and the Class of 2021 experienced a loss of in-person instruction and had to wait six months in between the assessment period. Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School implemented an SAT prep class last school year that focused on providing the students targeted instruction in the areas of English and Math, which has proven to be effective in impacting the students SAT scores in a positive manner. The staff and administration at ALAH High School should be commended for their willingness to create opportunities for students that are outside the normal traditional means of instruction. The time and efforts of the SAT prep team should be recognized for their creativity and collaboration to impact our students in such a positive fashion. I couldn’t be more proud of their efforts and look forward to what is to come in the future. Sincerely, Mr. Shannon Cheek Superintendent

Good afternoon parents/guardians: This is a reminder that there is no school on Monday for Columbus Day. We also want to remind Kindergarten, 6th grade, Freshmen and Seniors that you must have a current physical examination form and up to date proof of immunizations to your school office prior to October 15. If the school does not have this information submitted, the school is required by law to exclude your student beginning October 15, 2020 until the required forms and information is received. All students in KG, 6th, 9th, and 12th grade, including remote learners, must meet these state requirements. If your child's immunizations cannot be completed by the above date, you must have your doctor or health department furnish to us the appointment dates and schedule for the incomplete immunizations. If you have already submitted your child's forms to the school you may disregard this message. If you need assistance, please call the nurse at your child's school.

Friday, May 1st is School Lunch Hero Day. Over the past 5 weeks, your school cafeteria staff has been working tirelessly making sure your kiddos get fed in what has been uncharted and scary times for us as parents/guardians. In our area districts, we have provided upwards of 10,000 meals a week safely in a 1 or 2 day prep period. While the stay-at-home order has been in place, these people have put their energy into 3rd gear to make sure that no child has to go without. The passion behind that is miraculous and has been amazing to be a part of! Now you ask, what do we need from you and your kiddos? On May 1st, School Lunch Hero Day, have your student post a video simply saying thank you and maybe what the meals have meant to them. Another option would be to take a photo of your child with a drawn picture/kind words to the cafeteria staff as well. What would be even more cute is if they had some type of "superhero" outfit on in the picture or video! Tag @Aramark in your post! These woman and men deserved all the attention and thank you's possible! Please realize just how powerful there dedication has been through all of this! April 16, 2020 ALAH Knights, We are joining other schools throughout Illinois in showing our support of our senior student athletes, as well as the healthcare workers, first responders and all other essential employees working through this pandemic as a part of the Light for the Fight campaign started by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). For our students and families, even though we are not currently together, we still support one another and continue to be a KNIGHTS family. We will recognize our seniors by turning on the lights at the football field/track, baseball field and softball field south and west of the high school on Friday, April 17th 2020 from 8:00-8:20 pm. We invite the community to drive by our fields on Friday evening during this time to share this experience with us and honor our students. Good Afternoon Atwood-Hammond Grade School families. Meal distribution will be Monday, April 13 from 9-11 am. If you are picking up meals during that time we will continue to put your updated learning packets in with your meals. When you come to pick up meals please bring your child’s completed work. If you can put it in either a ziplock bag or a walmart bag with your child’s name, grade, and homeroom teacher on the front that would be appreciated! We will make sure it gets to the correct teacher. If you are not picking up meals we ask that you come get your child’s updated learning packets and return completed work anytime from 3-5 pm on Monday, April 13. Again, if you can place your child’s completed work in some sort of bag with their name, grade, and homeroom teacher on the front that would be wonderful. Remember, both procedures will be run as a drive through. We ask that you come into the East parking lot. A staff member will be out there to “check” you in and we will bring materials to your car. In order to practice social distancing we ask that you just open your trunk and we will place materials in the trunk. If we cannot get into your trunk we can place things in the backseat or hand them to you through the window. Please have your child’s completed work in a bag in the trunk or ready to hand through the window as well. This helps ensure that when we deliver the meals and/or updated packets we can retrieve the completed work without making physical contact as well.

Good afternoon everyone. We hope you have had a peaceful Monday so far. First and foremost, a huge shout out and thank you goes to the kitchen staff at each building in the district and the administrative team. The kitchen staff started early preparing and bagging meals and several staff members volunteered to come in and help distribute the meals to our families. We provided 2,560 meals for our families and we couldn’t be more grateful for all that helped! Again, we have no idea if the mandated shut down of schools will continue but rest assured that we are planning and preparing in order to be ready. Please continue to check your social media accounts as well as email for any updates. We are developing a form that we will distribute tomorrow or Wednesday that will be asking you to sign up if you want to receive meals next Monday. When we send this out, please take the time to fill it out as this will help all of us prepare to serve you more effectively. Thank you again for your patience and understanding as we continue to manage these uncertain times together. So proud of all that have reached out with a willingness to assist, a kind word or a simple thank you. You are appreciated and we are so proud of our communities. Stay tuned for continued updates. Have a great evening. Mr. Cheek

Due to continued developments Arthur CUSD # 305 schools will not be in attendance on Monday March 16th, 2020. We apologize for any hardships this decision may cause but safety of students and staff is our top priority. Please continue to check the website, your social media accounts and email for continuous updates. We are putting together a plan for providing meals for our students as well as communicating how we will be providing learning opportunities for all of our students. Stay tuned and once again, thanks for your patience and understanding. Thank you, Mr. Cheek

Dear Arthur CUSD #305 Students, Staff, and Families, Good afternoon once again. First, thanks for all your patience and understanding during these trying times. As you may or may not have heard, Governor Pritzker announced the mandate that all schools must close starting Tuesday, March 17th through Monday, March 30th. Monday, March 16th we will hold school but have a 12:00 pm dismissal for the high school and a 12:15 pm dismissal for all three grade schools. This will allow students the opportunity to meet with their teachers, gather their materials as well as have breakfast and lunch. It will also provide the teaching staff and administration time to plan and prepare plans moving forward. Please continue to monitor your social media accounts and check email for additional updates as they become available. Thank you, Mr. Cheek

Couldn't be more proud of the Administrative team today. Gathered early and put so much time, energy and thought into some tough decisions. Certainly uncharted waters for all, but so proud of them and their leadership. Feel lucky to work with such a great group! #GoKnights

Dear Arthur CUSD #305 Students, Staff and Families, The CDC and the Governor of the State of Illinois have provided school districts recommendations encouraging school administrators to make responsible decisions that are in the best interest of the health and safety of their students, staff, and community. Based on these recommendations, Arthur CUSD 305 is cancelling all extracurricular events as well as all other school related events from today, March 13 through Sunday, April 5, 2020. At this time school will remain open and any decision related to potential school closures will immediately be communicated. Practices for athletic teams, fine art programs and other school sponsored organizations will continue as school remains in session. These decisions are and will continue to be made to minimize risk and follow the guidelines and suggestions provided. We will continue to collaborate, keep informed by all sources available, and communicate with information that is received. Sincerely, Mr. Shannon Cheek Superintendent

Dear Arthur CUSD #305 Students, Staff and Families, As information continues to become available and updated related to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) we continue to monitor the situation keeping the safety of students, staff and community at the forefront. As this is a very unusual situation that all communities are trying to navigate and manage, many stakeholders are trying to come together to help determine the next steps. The collaboration with area Superintendents, Regional Offices of Education, Illinois State Board of Education, Regional Departments of Health as well as the Illinois Department of Health will continue as we are monitoring and gathering as much information as possible in order to make the most informed decisions moving forward. On Monday evening of this week the Illinois State Board of Education sent an email to all Superintendents expressing that it is “imperative” that districts work on an e-learning plan in the event that schools need to close for the Coronavirus. E-learning opportunities and developing that plan create many challenges for many districts in the state including available technology, as well as a multi layered approval process that extends beyond our local board of education. In light of the Coronavirus situation, the Illinois State Board of Education is working to waive those approvals requirements and expedite the process, however there isn’t a timeline for doing that. We will continue to monitor, encourage staff, and students to wash hands more frequently and utilize best practices for assisting in maintaining a clean and sanitized learning environment. We will also continue to implement best practices with our custodial staff to maintain and provide the safest environment possible for our staff and students. Also, please know that any decision moving ahead regarding school and or school closure will be made in coordination and guidance of many experts within the public health departments. As previously stated this is a very unusual and challenging situation that we are trying to navigate and we appreciate your understanding and patience during the process. I am also including the link for the Illinois Department of Public Health for your reference http://www.dph.illinois.gov/ Please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself at 217-543-2511 with any questions or clarity that is needed. Sincerely, Mr. Shannon Cheek Superintendent

100 People Who Care is a fundraising initiative of the District #305 Education Foundation. Knightly Reading is made possible from a grant received from the Foundation. We had a wonderful evening last Thursday, Feb. 20 at La Cascada. Renee Brown, district librarian and her team Jann Harris, Lindsey Herring, Amy Tighe and Carla Poorman, gave a fantastic and informative presentation on Knightly Reading "The Chocolate Touch." Watch this page and the local newspapers for updates and more about this. Next meeting will be Thursday, April 16 (tentative) for our first annual dinner when we will share our new grant recipients and their projects. Dinner will be provided by the District #305 Education Foundation at 6:30 at LaCascada for those who are members of 100 People Who Care and have made and fulfilled their pledge.

*Change in School Calendar* Arthur CUSD #305 has added Monday, March 30, 2020 to its Spring Break schedule. Spring Break will now run from Wednesday, March 25 through Monday, March 30. Students will be back in attendance on Tuesday, March 31. We apologize for this late edit to the school calendar. There was a discrepancy found between the official school calendar and the calendar provided to parents and students via the website. To correct this discrepancy, a non-attendance day had to be added. Again, we apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause.
