Our community is saddened to hear about the news of the passing of Mr. Harry Bell. Mr. Bell was a beloved teacher and principal in the Arthur schools for many years. Mrs. Vickie Clark, retired teacher, shared these words. "Arthur District #305 has lost a great teacher, mentor, coach, principal, and friend. Harry Bell was the shining example of what an educator should be.  He was an outstanding teacher.  However, Mr. Bell excelled in his role as principal.  He was well respected by staff, students, and the community.  He was a great supporter of his teachers, always striving to make them a better educator.  To students he was not only their principal but their friend.  Mr. Bell knew every student by their first name, who their family was, and where they lived. This quote says it all about Harry Bell."

"A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning."  Brad Henry.
