ARTHUR CUSD #305 BOARD OF EDUCATION
Beth Wiley - President
Beth Wiley was elected to the Board of Education in 2011 and her current term expires in 2027. She has served as board Secretary, Vice-President and as President since 2019. Beth also serves the Illini Division of the Illinois Association of School Boards as its chairperson and represents the board as a member of the Arthur Community Foundation and the Timm Trust Advisory Committee. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Illinois, concentrating in Marketing and Agribusiness Management. Beth spent over 13 years working in the fields of customer service and sales before becoming the office manager and marketing coordinator for The Great Pumpkin Patch. Beth is a member of Arthur Woman’s Club, having previously served as President and Vice-President. As a lifetime member of the Arthur United Methodist Church she has served on various committees, led junior high youth group and has been the media specialist for over 10 years. She also volunteers in her children’s classrooms whenever possible. Beth and her husband Toby reside south of Arthur with their 3 children.
Monica Green - Vice President
Monica Green was appointed to the Board in 2017 to fill an unexpired term. She was re-elected in 2019 and is serving a four-year term which expires in 2023. Monica is currently the Vice President of the CUSD 305 Board of Education. Monica is a book-keeper for her husband’s family farm and a speech/language pathologist. She earned her M.S. in Speech Pathology from Illinois State University and was employed by Sullivan and Bethany School Districts, Arthur School District and Arcola School District. Monica has been on the steering committee for Vacation Bible School, the Arthur United Methodist Church Administration Committee, plays in the church praise band, is treasurer of an agriculture board, has served on ECISHA board of directors, is currently the Boy Scouts of America Troop and Pack 74 Community Chair and Moultrie Douglas County Fair Board.Her husband is Justin Green, who runs his family’s corn and soybean operation in rural Arthur. They have three children, Makenna who is attending Lake Land Community College studying agriculture and competing on the Livestock Judging Team, Jace attends ALAH and Beau attends Arthur Grade School.
Justin Wierman
Justin was elected to the board in 2019. He is serving a four-year term which expires in 2023. Justin earned a BS in Agribusiness from Illinois State University. He is a Field Sales Agronomist for Growmark and farms in rural Atwood. Justin has worked in the Agriculture sector for 10 plus years. He is currently President of the Board for Knights Youth Football. His wife, Andrea, is a Hair Stylist and owner of Visual Image Salon in Tuscola. The Wierman's have 4 children. Brody, 13, is in 8th Grade at Atwood-Hammond Grade School. Blayne, 9, is in 4th Grade at Atwood-Hammond Grade School. Paityn, 3, is in PreK at Atwood. Reese is 1 and just busy all the time!
Jenny Moore
Jenny Moore was elected to the school board in 2025 for a four-year term, expiring in 2029. A graduate of Lovington High School, she holds degrees from Eastern Illinois University, including a B.S. in Physical Education with minors in Health and Driver Education, a Master’s in Educational Leadership (Type 75 Principal), and a Specialist Degree in Superintendency. Jenny has over 25 years of teaching experience and has served as President of the Mt. Zion Federation of Teachers for 10+ years. She is also a certified teacher evaluator, Varsity level coach, and an active committee member. A lifelong member and board member of Lovington First Christian Church. Jenny lives in Lovington with her two children, Brady and Brynlee.
