ALAH Weekend Update

Good afternoon Knight Families:

The faculty and staff want to invite you to our Virtual Open House!  We are disappointed that we aren’t able to have you in for our annual open house that includes a cook-out, our band performing, tours of the building as well as meeting the faculty.  So this year, we have been working hard on preparing videos for you to view in order to meet every faculty and staff member!  We will post it at 6 p.m on Monday night on our website and social media. You will be able to view it at your convenience any time after it is posted.  We hope you will join us.

Next week would have marked our 2020 Homecoming Week!  We are disappointed that we can’t participate in these activities right now however we are hoping, if restrictions are lifted, to have a winter dance.  The most exciting news is that our Student Council is planning activities during the month of October!  Stay tuned for more details.

Picture Day was Tuesday and you can order pictures online at inter-state.com/order. Enter 53154PA when it asks for an order number. If you student was not here for pictures we will be taking pictures again on Friday, October 9th.

Attention Parents of the Class of 2021:

Several important pieces of information for you this week.  You should have received an email from me with a survey regarding the senior trip.  Three short questions to help guide our decisions.  Please complete this by Monday, September 28th.   And we do ask that you only submit one survey per student!

We also shared a survey with your student inviting them to join in four SAT refresher courses starting next week.  Their SAT will be Wednesday, October 14th.  Taking this test is a state requirement for graduation.  We have designed these classes to pick up where we left off in March.  These refresher courses are open to ALL SENIORS, but each student MUST sign up if they plan to attend.

The classes are from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on

  • Tuesday, September 29th  -  Math
  • Thursday, Oct. 1st  -  English/Reading
  • Tuesday, Oct. 6  -  Math
  • Thursday, Oct. 8th  -  English/Reading.

Each day will cover DIFFERENT material.  This survey must be completed by noon on Monday, September 28th.  Mrs. Hart will also be preparing videos with test taking tips for your student to watch!  Please call me with any questions or concerns.
