Good Afternoon Knight Families!
We are so excited to kick off the 2021-2022 school year. The building looks amazing. The teachers have been in and out of the building preparing for your return. While we don't know how everything is exactly going to look this year, we do know that our doors will be open and we are ready for a full day of learning.
Monday, August 16 we will kick off with First Night. Please be watching social media for information on how that night will go. We will be posting it on Friday. Please mark your calendars for 4-5pm (kindergarten), and 6-7pm (preK, 1st-8th grade). Tuesday, August 17 is the first day of school attendance. We want to give a big thank you to the First Baptist Church here in Atwood for holding the Back To School bash last week. They were able to distribute school supplies to many of our families!
I hope that you all had a wonderful summer. August is always exciting because we get to reconnect with our students. While things may not be as normal as we would like them to be, we are extremely grateful to get to be with our students. AHGS is buzzing with energy and we are ready for a great year! It is a great day to be a Knight!
