Sarah Bush Lincoln is again offering Back to School Sport Physicals at their Arthur Clinic location. Dates for Sports Physicals are June 15 and June 27th. You must have an appointment and a parent must sign the form before. SBL donates the $20 fee to the Arthur Athletic Booster Club so this is a win-win situation! Please note, incoming freshmen need a complete physical - this sports physical will not work for that. Athletes also need up to date physicals before they can participate once theirs has expired. A June 28 election is unusual in Illinois. With a lot of people busy with summer activities or on vacation, early voting is very important. For more information about early voting, go to your county’s website. And please remember to vote prior to or on June 28.

Atwood-Hammond Grade School is currently accepting applications for an individual student aide. Duties include but not limited to the ability to work effectively in a team environment providing support to teachers and students, and assisting in duties related to supervision of lunchroom, playground, and field trips. From district nurse: Just a reminder that students entering grade 12 in the State of Illinois must be immunized for Meningitis. The immunization requirement consists of two doses of the MCV4 vaccine for entry into 12th grade. Only one dose of the MCV4 is required for students entering 12th grade if the first dose was received on/after the age of 16. Proof of receiving the MCV4 Vaccination(s) is required and should be submitted during the first week of school in August 2022. Thank you for helping us with this!
