Claire Seal and Lucy Wilber participated in Senator Chapin Rose's Youth Advisory Council today at the Illinois State Capitol. They had the opportunity to brainstorm and discuss issues that are important to today's youth.

Way to go to ALAH FCCLA representing at the 2024 IL FCCLA State Conference. Logan Burgin served as a voting delegate during the Business Session. Perla Juarez-Cuevas competed & hosted a workshop. Advisor Mrs. Voegel served as an Event Coordinator & had many other duties.

Perla Juarez-Cuevas competed in the Career Investigation STAR Event at Illinois FCCLA State Conference. She is the first student since 2019 from ALAH to compete at this conference.

We would like to recognize this week's ALAH High School Shining Knights! Students are nominated by teachers for positives with academics, behavior or attitude. Students get a small reward for the week and will then be put in for a monthly drawing for a gift card. This weeks Shining Knights were: Oscar Quintero, Chloe Schable, Derrick Schrock, Evan Fowler, Ben Johnson, Alexis Craig, Amberlynn Timm, Samantha VanMeter, and Billy Leib. The March Shining Knight gift card winner is Lily Hart. Congratulations to all!
