This is a reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences are today and tomorrow from 4-8 pm. The high school will dismiss at 2:00 and the grade schools will dismiss at 2:15 on both days. There is no school on Friday.

Volleyball Regionals tonight at home, athletic passes are not valid for post season games, entry fee is $5 for students & adults. NHS will be selling hot dogs at the game as well!
Senior Parents/Guardians: If you need help completing the FAFSA for your student, please plan on attending FAFSA Completion Night on Wednesday, October 26. You can stop by anytime between 6:00 and 7:30.
Foundations to Teaching students are teaching hands on lessons with the use of ‘Broken Crayons.’ So far they have made first name letters, melted them on pumpkins and used crayon shavings to make a lantern. The other students will teach their lessons next week.

Intro to FACS classes enjoyed the end of the week nice weather and participated a ‘Move If You’ activity outside.
A group of students attended the Future Teacher Conference at ISU with Mrs. Hart. They heard inspiring messages from educators, attended various sessions, and explored different education majors. They were also entertained by a Collegiate Circus. Who knew there was such a thing!

Leadership Skills students today visited a local corn maze, Master Maze, and worked on their teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Foods continued pumpkin themed foods this week with Salted Caramel Pumpkin Crescents and Pumpkin Milkshakes.
Earlier this week, one of the major component suppliers for our automated camera systems released a firmware update that has disrupted the functionality of our gym camera that is used to broadcast games on the NFHS Network. New parts will be shipped to our school and we will have the gym camera fixed ASAP. The football field camera is not displaying the same software update issue as the gym camera and should operate as normal.
