
We hope everyone is enjoying their summer. August is right around the corner and we have another opportunity for your student to get their school or sports physical. Douglas County Health Department is providing school and sports physicals at the high school on August 1-3. The physicals will be provided for free and parents must be present to consent unless previously arranged with DCHS staff. Any student in the district can sign up for a free physical.

2023-2024 Illini Prairie CEO participants: There will be a required orientation meeting on Thursday, August 10 at 5:30pm, at the Arcola Community Center. Students and a parent/legal guardian are required to attend. If you cannot make the August 10 meeting, please email the facilitator, Emily Coombe (facilitator@illiniprairieceo.com) to arrange an orientation.

The senior class is raising funds for their senior trip by parking cars for the MO-DO Fair. Wednesday through Saturday this week you can park in the west high school lot from 5 PM-8 PM each evening for $10 per car.

We are accepting sealed bids for our old scoreboard. Bids are due in the high school office Friday, July 14th. Mail your bid to Arthur CUSD #305, Attn: Nathan Seal, 301 E. Columbia, Arthur, IL 61911. Or, drop your bid off to the high school office. Call 217-543-2146 to confirm someone is in the office before you stop by. Public opening of the bids will be on Monday, July 17th at 10 a.m. in the high school office.
