Current and past FACS students were part of Veterans Day activities with meal prep, serving and cleanup plus some other parts for later in the day.

Our Knights will face Westville in the IHSA Quarterfinals this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The team will receive a police escort out of Arthur at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The bus will travel north to Route 36, then east through Atwood toward Chrisman on the way to Westville. Let’s show our support and line the streets along the route to cheer on the Knights as they head into battle! #GoKnights

Admission: $10 (No passes)
No pets allowed. No footballs allowed into the football field.

We have a temporary fix in place for the boiler at Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School and anticipate that we will have school on Tuesday, November 11th. As of now our Veteran's Day program will go on as planned. If something develops later today or overnight and we need to alter those plans, we will alert you as soon as possible. We were just made aware that there is an issue with the boiler at Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School and with no heat in the building we will not be able to conduct classes today. We will be dismissing all high school students at 8:45 a.m. Bus students will be transported home at that time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for our students, faculty and families. We will update you on the status of the building as that information becomes available to us. Any decisions related to extracurriculars will be communicated by 1 p.m. today. This does not affect elementary students or our elementary buildings.
