What a perfect way to wrap up an amazing band week! Huge thanks to the ALAH Fine Arts Boosters for providing delicious meals and fun activities for our Marching Knights, and a special thank-you to the Arthur Fire Department for helping our students cool off and Crist Termite and Pest Solutions for sponsoring Kona Ice . Excited for an outstanding season ahead! #GoKnights

ALAH Drama Club Launches Summer Playwriting Contest
Who says summer break is just for relaxing? The ALAH Drama Club is turning up the creativity this summer by launching its first annual Playwriting Contest, and it’s all about student voices taking center stage. Yes, our ALAH students are volunteering to write during the summer!
Open to all ALAH students, the contest invites young writers to submit original 10-minute plays. The winning scripts won’t just sit on paper—they’ll be brought to life as part of the student-directed show in January, giving student playwrights the rare chance to see their words performed on stage. What could be more exciting than seeing your own words come alive on stage, performed?
Submissions are due by August 15th. Students should check their emails for official guidelines, eligibility information, and answers to frequently asked questions!
If you're a student with a story to tell, this is your moment! Who knows—this could be the moment a future award-winning playwright gets their start.

Congratulations to our Boys Track and Field athletes that earned News-Gazette All-Area recognition! https://www.news-gazette.com/sports/2025-all-area-boys-track-and-field-meet-the-complete-team/article_d3b08cbe-c07d-4fe9-abf9-71bf87d78b6c.html
