The district is extending an invitation to attend a series of open houses. The open houses will be a chance to become informed about a potential project that will impact the high school campus. We look forward to seeing you all and are excited to share the information!


We would like to recognize this week's ALAH High School Shining Knights! Students are nominated by teachers for positives with academics, behavior or attitude. Students get a small reward for the week and will then be put in for a monthly drawing for a gift card. This weeks Shining Knights were: Brennon Hutson, Kaylee McDaniel, Jorja Lebeter, Kaley Herschberger, and Nathan Rafferty


Rosie Jean's Sweet Tea truck will be in the high school parking lot on TUESDAY 4/30 from 10:30am through the lunch hours! Bring your wallet and grab yourself a delicious tea during lunch!

Track & Field 4/24


Congratulations to Perla Juarez-Cuevas who earned a Gold Medal and was named Most Outstanding and an Illinois National Delegate in the Career Investigation Level 3 STAR Event at the Illinois FCCLA State Conference.

EIU Practicum Student Mrs. Higdon has spent the past weeks with Culinary Arts. Last week they completed a 'Plan a Meal' project. Different parts were included plus a trip to Kirby Foods to choose their ingredients. Friday they completed their lab with pancakes, pastas and BLT.

Lots of different creations were made for this week's 'Kitchen Pantry' Labs in the FACS kitchens. Students made their choices with only being allowed to have 3 things purchased to complete it. Cookies, smoothies, tacos, trifle, pasta and much more.
