HIGH SCHOOL BUSINESS TEACHER

Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is looking for a Business Teacher starting second semester of the 2025-2026 school year. The HS Business Teacher is responsible for HS Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to provide high school students with meaningful, hands-on career training across multiple pathways. We are seeking dynamic, innovative educators who are passionate about preparing students for success in college, careers, and life in the following areas: 

  • Computer Applications

  • Business Education

  • Financial Services

  • Consumer Education

  • Workforce Education

  • Career Education

  • Cooperative Education (Co-op) 

Qualifications include a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate CTE, work study and business endorsement(s) or eligibility to obtain.  Capable to adapt and grow curriculum and courses as student interest changes and keep current with the CTE business world. SUMMER SCHOOL TEACHER

Arthur CUSD 305 is currently accepting applications for an opening for a Summer School Teacher for Summer 2026. Thepositions that are needed are listed below. We will have one section of credit recovery which will run from June 1st - June 19th, 8 AM - 12 PM. This class will be taught using the APEX computer modules. This opportunity will be for students who are behind in credits and in jeopardy of not graduating or not moving to the next grade level. SUMMER DRIVER'S ED TEACHER

Arthur CUSD 305 is currently accepting applications for an opening for a Summer Driver’s Ed Teacher for Summer 2026. This classroom instruction is that part of the driver education course consisting of learning experiences centered in the classroom. The summer driver's ed course will take place in June with final dates and times determined by instructor and administration. SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

Arthur CUSD 305 is looking for a school psychologist. This position is a district-wide position covering students ages Pre-K through age 21. The school psychologist will be responsible for case study evaluation as well as intervention planning and problem-solving within the response to intervention framework. HS PARAPROFESSIONAL

Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is currently accepting applications for a Paraprofessional to join our staff. Join our team at ALAH HS as a Paraprofessional. The Paraprofessional assists the special education classroom teacher in providing assistance in carrying out lessons designed by the classroom teacher, following their individual education plans and/or behavioral plans. Responsibilities include supporting daily classroom activities, preparing materials, helping students with routines. The para also helps with individual students or small groups of students.  This person will also assist the teacher in maintaining a functional, attractive, and orderly environment conducive to student learning and through clerical tasks, computer work, house cleaning duties, and other related school activities.
