What a day for the Knights at the IESA State Track & Field Meet!
Our 8th grade boys are currently in 1st place heading into tomorrow’s events!
Scoring contributions today:
Beau Green – State Champion in the 1600m and tied for 7th in high jump. Beau also set the state (and school) record in the 1600! 4:41.02
Jase Kingery – 3rd place in the 110m hurdles
Donovan Vanausdoll – 6th place in shot put

In addition, Bowyer McGrath earned the Spirit Award. A meet starter can give a Spirit Award at a track and field meet to someone they feel is deserving. Boyer was selected at the meet for being especially helpful with the starting blocks not only for his own team but for the others as well. Meet official Bruce Weiman mentioned that Boyer also helped out wherever he was asked or needed.
