The week of January 13 through January 18 is Winter Officials Appreciation Week.
Officials are mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, and friends.
These unique individuals officiate because they love the activity and have found a
way to give back to the activity and the youth who play it. They spend many
nights away from their families each week to provide our students the
opportunity to participate. They have no stake in a contest other than their love
of the game. They are not going to get every call right; they are human, but
without them, games cannot be played.
