Hello Knight Family:
This afternoon our student council hosted the 27th annual Winter Follies for our student body. We had 10 student groups share their talents and our winners were: 1st place to Parker Dick with his rendition of My Way, second went to The White Chicks dance off skit with an ensemble cast and third place went to Speech King by Colton Taylor. It was one of the best Follies we have had. Our broadcasting class recorded it and we will share it after they have had a chance to work on the editing next week. Our students are amazing. A huge thank you to our student council and their advisor, Mrs. Sluder.
As I have said there is never a dull moment in high school. Today is no exception as students from our Physics class have been working to compete in the Purdue University Bridge Bust Competition. Senior Nolan Schrock’s bridge won second place in the aesthetics category! It was a great opportunity for our Physics students.
We are looking for parents to volunteer to join me for a few meetings throughout the spring. This Parent’s Advisory group will meet to give advice about the high school. We will talk about our strengths and weaknesses, areas of concern, brainstorm ways to make our school better and evaluate the current school handbook.
