Tonight and tomorrow night at 7 p.m. the drama club’s presentation of ‘Ken Ludwig's The Three Musketeers.’ will be one the ALAH gym. They have been working for months on their production. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and they are sold at the door.
Need breakfast? Saturday from 6 am - 9 am at the Arthur United Methodist Church 128 East Illinois Street, there is the FFA Alumni and Supporters breakfast. There will be biscuits and gravy along with scrambled eggs and sausage. Enjoy a great breakfast while you support a good cause and have fun seeing our community members.
At our recent IHSA Solo and Ensemble contest, all entries earned first place. Congratulations to Izabella Danford, Chloe Custer, Sara Rogers, Kylie Stutzman, Angelina Davis Kearns and Miah Malin. A Best of Day Award Certificate was presented to Miah Malin in recognition of the most superior musical performance heard that day by a judge. Don’t forget that DESSERT THEATRE is Saturday, April 1 at 7:00 pm.
Child Development and Foundations of Teaching students have in the last 2 weeks all been trained and certified in "SIDS" and "Shaken Baby Syndrome" by Vicky Foster at the Child Resource & Referral. Students earned a certificate for this work.
All 14 students in the Construction Skills class have completed the 10 Hour OSHA Training Course. This gives them a certification card showing completion of the course and the card never expires. This was in connection with the Eastern Illinois Education for Employment System.
Spring has officially arrived as baseball and softball games are scheduled for next week. Hopefully the weather will be better than predicted. Track will move from their indoor practice schedule to their outdoor schedule the week of spring break.
