Hello Knight Family:
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, ALAH HS will not disappoint! Tonight at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., our ALAH Drama Club will perform Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry. The Saturday performance has been moved to Sunday because WE ARE IN THE SECOND ROUND OF PLAYOFFS on Saturday! If you’re up for a road trip that day, head to Peoria to cheer on our very own freshman, Beau Green, as he competes in the State Cross Country Meet at 10 AM! Of course, our cheerleader and band continue their work to cheer on the Knights. Did you know that our girls’ basketball teams are also hard at work preparing for their seasons. We couldn’t do any of this without everyone’s extra effort, time, flexibility and energy!
On Tuesday, we will honor our Veterans with a luncheon and program. All Veterans and their families are invited to our FCCLA luncheon at 12:00 p.m. Please RSVP by calling the office at 217-543-2146. Everyone is also invited to our Veterans Day Program at 1:00 p.m. We would love to include the veterans who are special to your family in our annual slideshow. Please submit a photo of your veteran using this link.
It’s not too late to sign up to work concession stands at University of Illinois basketball games! Each time you work, you earn $105 toward your student’s senior trip balance. If you’re interested, please contact Jenni Burket at 217-412-7326. We truly appreciate your help—this is a great way to support your senior or future senior.
