Hello Knight Family:
On Thursday, our incredible Kitchen Crew treated our students, faculty, and staff to a full Thanksgiving Feast—and it was outstanding! From roasted turkey and mashed potatoes to the delicious pumpkin dessert, all the stuff. Dayna, Brittany, and Chris always go the extra mile, but they truly went above and beyond this week. The food was so good that many of us were fighting off that Thanksgiving nap a week early!
Did you know we’re only 15 school days away from final exams? The finish line is in sight! Even with a short week ahead, now is the perfect time to encourage your student to stay locked in on their academics. Showing up every day, checking missing assignments and grades, and having those positive “finish strong” conversations at home can make a huge impact. I know there are tests next week, seniors have their research papers due soon plus zoology is dissecting flatworms! Together, we can help our students wrap up the semester with confidence and momentum.
A HUGE shout out to Chloe Custer & Anna Rawlins who qualified for the ILMEA Festival at Eastern Illinois University on Saturday. This is a huge honor! They leave early Saturday to prepare for the concert and perform at late afternoon on Saturday. Our talent is never ending!!!
The halls of ALAH are buzzing with excitement as we head into an unforgettable week! Our basketball teams are on the court, and our football team is charging into Round 4 of the playoffs—a milestone we haven’t reached since 2004. We celebrated this incredible fall season today with a pep rally that had everyone fired up and ready to cheer. Now it’s your turn! Join us Saturday at Wilson Field—gates open at 12 noon, kickoff is at 2:00 p.m., and tickets are $11. Let’s pack the stands, show our Knight pride, and make this historic moment one to remember.
