Hello Knight Family:
From the basketball court to the classroom and everywhere in between, the Knights are representing our school with pride. We are especially excited to announce that our FFA Officers will be featured on WCIA on Wednesday morning! Be sure to watch the 9:00 AM morning show to catch their interview during the Community Spotlight. It is always a great day to be a Knight!
Our Student Council announced two big events this month … Winter Follies will be held on Friday, February 20th and they will be sponsoring a Blood Drive on February 26th. You may sign up to give blood here. Stay tuned for more details.
We want to hear from you! Please take a few minutes to complete the state-required 5 Essentials Survey for the high school. This is your chance to share your honest thoughts on how we’re doing and help shape the future of our school. Your feedback is completely anonymous and we want to know how we can provide the best experience for your students. Our goal is to have over 40% of our families participate before March 13th.
For those who remember the days when the East Gym was our only gym, it holds more than just sports memories. It was the heart of our school—home to dances, graduations, banquets, and award ceremonies. Many will never forget the atmosphere of a packed basketball game with the pep band playing loud from the stage.
The time has come for the final buzzer on our beloved home court. On Tuesday, February 10th, we will host our last basketball matchup in the East Gym before its scheduled demolition this summer. While change brings new opportunities for our students, we recognize the deep ties our community has to this space. We hope to see you there to celebrate the legacy of the East Gym and play one last game on this historic floor.
