Dear Knight Families,
We are off and running! Your students have done an outstanding job of navigating our new address and all of the changes that come with it. Our first day was filled with cheering, literally running through the hallways, finding our classes, food trucks, and—of course—the seniors winning the first class spirit award!
Have you ever wondered how a high school building can live inside an elementary school building? Well, tonight from 5:00–6:00 p.m., you are invited to come see firsthand at our annual Open House. Walk through the building at your own pace, meet your child’s teachers, and see how our high school is rolling! We will also have several tables set up in the cafeteria with resources and organizations from our communities.
We are disappointed that we had to cancel tonight’s Red & Gold game. Unfortunately, our field just had too much water for us to safely hold the scrimmage. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate these changes.
A couple of housekeeping items… We are asking student drivers, walkers, and students who are riding home with a parent to remain in the building until the buses have left. We are tight on space, and we believe this transition will be safer and quicker for everyone involved. This means that students who drive, walk, or ride home with a parent will leave the building at 3:18 instead of 3:13. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
