Dear Knight Families,
A heads up… Homecoming is only a month away! September 20–26 will be here before we know it, and the days leading up to Homecoming will be filled with activities, school spirit, and a little friendly competition! Student Council is hard at work on all of the details. We had class meetings this morning so each class could choose its theme and begin planning for hallway and float decorating. Earlier this week, classes also selected their attendants and king and queen candidates for the 2026 Homecoming Court. You and your student can stay in the know with the latest information through email and social media as we get closer to the big week. It is going to be a great week!
Are you looking for a way to be involved or help out? We are starting a new tradition for the Friday of Homecoming Week, and I am looking for a few parents from each class to help with a cookout. If you are interested in helping in any way, please email me at seegmillers@cusd305.org.
Are you the parent or guardian of a senior? I know it is still August, but graduation will be here before we know it! Our school calendar is already jam-packed, and we are adding one more important date for the Class of 2027: Tuesday, September 8, at 6:00 p.m. We will cover everything from graduation requirements and the senior trip to graduation itself—and a whole lot more! Details will be coming to your email soon, so be on the lookout. It is never too early to start thinking about senior year!
There is a lot happening at ALAH! Art Club is starting next week, auditions for Little Women begin, and a new group for future teachers will be meeting. And, of course, soccer, cross country, volleyball, and football are all in action this weekend!
There really is something for everyone! We hope you will join us, get involved, and cheer on our Knights! Go Knights!
