Hello Knight Family:
Your opinions are wanted!! How many times do you hear that? On December 1st from 6 p.m .to 8 p.m., the district will be hosting the second of three facilities discussions in the old gym at the high school. This is open to all community members, parents, and students. If you would like to catch up on the work that has been done to this point, check it out on our website @ CUSD # 305 Facilities Studies. The meeting will have information presented and then table discussions where everyone will get to work through different scenarios and brainstorm ideas. We are hoping to fill the gym for the next round of discussions. If you attended last time, we want you to join us again as the results from that meeting are guiding this meeting. If you didn’t attend the first round, we want you to join us for this round. Bottom line … everyone is welcome and we hope you will join us. UKnighted Flier
Tuesday, November 23rd will be a busy evening at ALAH HS. We will have Illini Grad Sales in the cafeteria from 3-7pm so you can order everything from letterman jackets, to class rings, to all gradation products. The girls and boys basketball games will be happening in both gyms and you can even grab dinner from the junior class who will be selling LaGondola sandwiches. The parking lot and the bleachers will all be filled and we can’t wait!
It’s only two school days away, Thanksgiving Break. We have school on Monday and Tuesday and then the remainder of the week off. When we return we will be busy working to finish the semester, prepare for final exams, show off our talented choir and band at the Christmas Concert and of course cheer on our Knights in basketball. We are especially thankful for being able to be in person and do all of our regular activities this year, despite the on-going pandemic restrictions. Our high school is filled with outstanding students and faculty/staff that give their best everyday.
