  • Signing - Senior softball student-athlete Alisha Frederick will be committing to continue her athletic participation on the intercollegiate level at Parkland College.   In honor of Alisha’s accomplishment, Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School will be hosting a signing on Friday,  February 10th at 3:30 p.m. in the gym at Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School.  

  • Movie Night: Mark your calendars for next Wednesday, February 15th for our movie night! We will be watching How to Lose a Guy in 10 days and there will be popcorn,cookies, punch, bingo, and the chance to win a giftcard. Only $5 to get in here at the high school at 7!

  • On This Day: in 1996, world chess champion Garry Kasparov began a six-round match against Deep Blue, a chess-playing computer built by IBM, in which Kasparov claimed a 4–2 victory (though Deep Blue won a rematch the following year).
