On Thursday, July 30th, 2020 the Arthur CUSD #305 Board of Education approved the return to school in person learning plan. Details of the plan are included in the link below, as well as additional plans that may need to be utilized depending on what phase the Governor of Illinois and the Illinois State Board of Education deems necessary. We have been given approval to resume basketball activities!! This is our schedule for This and Next Week: Wednesday July 8th: 5-7:30 Lovington All Basketball Players Thursday, July 9th: 5:00 - 6:30 pm in Lovington (Non-Football Players Only!) Next week, July 13-16 Monday and Wed 5:00 - 6:30 pm in Lovington (Non-Football Players Only!) Tuesday and Thursday 5-7:30 Lovington All Basketball Players Workouts are for Freshman thru Senior Athletes. These workouts are part of our 20 contact days and are used to acclimate our players to our system and are instrumental in the success of our program. These workouts are not mandatory but are highly encouraged. Each athlete must register for workouts prior to the workout. Walk-ins will not be permitted. Please EMAIL Coach McGill mcgillb@cusd305.org to be included. A roster of attendees must be on file prior to beginning of workouts. Each player must bring their own water AND face mask to the workouts. No mask, no workout. Masks must be worn when not actively participating in drills or activities. Social distancing must also be adhered to. I look forward to seeing and preparing for the 20-21 season! #GoKnights!

This is a reminder that school registration is open this week online through Skyward's Family Access. If you have not registered your student for the 2020-2021 school year, please register them by this Friday, June 26. If you have any questions regarding registration or need your Skyward login information, please call your student's school office. All physical, dental, eye, and medication forms are available through the online registration or in the registration section on our district website. Documents needed for the following grade levels: Birth certificate (new students), School physical exams/proof of immunizations: New students, K, 6th, 9th grade, Dental Exam: K, 2nd, 6th, 9th grade, Vision Exam: K, Sports Physical (JH & HS athletes) - Freshman physical counts as sports physical, Proof of receiving (2) Meningitis vaccines: 12th grade - Only one dose is required if the first dose was received at 16 years of age or older. Any student who will need to take any medication at school (this includes prescription or over the counter) must have the medication authorization form on file signed by both the parent/guardian and the healthcare provider. Good evening Arthur CUSD 305 parents and guardians, Arthur CUSD #305 is moving all registration to an online format and will happen next week for our 2020-2021 school year. This means no waiting until August to register your student(s). On Monday, June 22 registration will open in Skyward. Online registration will be open from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26. If you do not have access to a computer or need assistance in registering online, please call the school office to schedule an appointment. Scheduled appointments will take place on June 23 and June 24 from 12-6 pm. Class of 2020 plan to pick up your Virtual Graduation keepsakes from the high school office Monday through Thursday next week between 1 pm and 3 pm. Included are ceremony photos, the printed commencement program and a USB with the video that aired on Graduation night.

Arthur CUSD 305 has released the guidelines that will be followed for summer fitness and strength training for student athletes in Junior High and High School. Every student will need permission from their parent/guardian in order to be able to participate in voluntary workouts.
