Look for a Story Walk posted around the school circle drive. It’s a way to take a mask break, get some fresh air, and practice social distancing, all while enjoying a good book. Our first installment is PENGUIN PROBLEMS by Jory John.

Good evening! We wanted to send a message out in regards to self-certification. We would appreciate our families working with us in making sure that they are certifying children by 7:15 am each morning. We print our reports for our door monitors at that time to be able to check-in students. We do not want to send out an all-call daily because we know many families do certify by this time. Today was our first morning not doing the all-call and we had a large population of students that were not certified by this time. This complicated our student’s arrival and many phone calls had to be made to check students in for safe arrival. We also have a paper version of the daily certification if you would prefer to sign off daily using the paper version. You can print this paper version off our website or have your student ask for a copy. Thank you for your help in this process. We do appreciate it!

We had a wonderful 1st day of school at AGS! It was the best feeling having our students walk back into the building after being gone for 5 months. Our remote learners also got to be a part of the day and meet their teachers virtually during classes. So many teachers and staff members worked hard today to get us off to a good start. As we move forward we want to remind families to "certify" their students every day using the Skyward app (super easy) or using our check-off form. Thank you parents for being patient during drop-off and pick-up times.
