We hope everyone is enjoying their summer. August is right around the corner and we have another opportunity for your student to get their school or sports physical. Douglas County Health Department is providing school and sports physicals at the high school on August 1-3. The physicals will be provided for free and parents must be present to consent unless previously arranged with DCHS staff. Any student in the district can sign up for a free physical.

Arthur Grade School is seeking organizations that might be of interest to our families as part of our Welcome Back to School celebration (First Knight) on August 15th from 6-8 pm. We hope that everyone will help spread the word to groups or businesses that might be interested in helping our students start the year off on a great start. Organizations would be given a table on the playground as families gather/mingle following the meeting of their classroom teacher and dropping off of school supplies. This would be a great way to get your message out to our school community.

It has become tradition for my class to create "That's What I Like About You" books at the end of the year. Each student gets their own book filled with positive messages from others. It is my favorite thing about the last day of school. The look on their faces says it all 🥰 The 16th Edition is complete!! Wishing you all a great summer!
