Hiring Assistant to the Director of Maintenance
Good morning everyone! We hope you are enjoying the warmer weather. Although the results of the survey we sent out regarding the renaming of the high school were posted in The County Chronicle, we wanted to share those results on our social media platforms for those that may not have seen the results. We had 461 total responses to the survey, with 67.9% voting no and 32.1% voting yes to the possibility of changing the name of the high school. The Arthur Board of Education would like to thank all of those that took the time to answer the survey. We appreciate your genuine interest in the school district. Go Knights!

Happy national incredible kid day! If only you could see their faces as we read what their proud families had to say about them.

First grade had fun celebrating St.Patrick's Day with fun science and math activities. We made magic rainbows for science and played number games to celebrate.

That tricky leprechaun visited the kindergarten classroom while we were at recess. You should have heard the shrieks and laughter!

Monarch and Marshmallow Party! A party was held to celebrate reading books from the list of Illinois' Monarch Award nominees. Every year, K-3 students across the State will read and vote on 1 out of 20 nominated titles. The winning title will receive the prestigious Monarch Award. Students enjoyed eating Peeps and playing bingo before casting their vote. The winner so far from Arthur Grade School is Claude: The True Story of a White Alligator by Emma Bland Smith. The State winner will be announced in April.
