Today during the Piatt County spelling bee our very own, Ava Davis, places second and will be moving on to the regional spelling bee at Eisenhower High School in Decatur in March 21 at 9. Congratulations to her and our other grade level participants.
I was so lucky to get to have lunch with Sophia today. Her positive behavior awarded her lunch with a teacher and she chose me! I remember having lunch with her big brother, Nick, 10 years ago!!

Today we held our school wide spelling bee and the winner was an eighth grade student. Congratulations to all the spellers that won their classroom bees and participated today. The top spellers from each grade will move into the Piatt county bee on Thursday in Cerro Gordo at 9.

The weather forecast for Wednesday is not looking good so we are postponing Freshman Orientation at ALAH High School. We are rescheduling for next Thursday, February 20th.
