SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM:
DCHD is restructuring the Summer Food Program to best serve students' needs for access to nutritious meals throughout Summer break!
For Summer 2024, DCHD will utilize a self-enrollment registration link for eligible program participants to enroll their household for weekly delivery of breakfast and lunch meals for the eligible students within the household. Weekly deliveries will run from June 3rd - August 2nd for enrolled households. Participating households served by this program will be subject to eligibility guidelines including eligibility for free and/or reduced lunches as verified by their school district and at least one student served per household must be enrolled in a school program.

2023 ALAH Grad and former AHGS student, Miss Ava Binion, returned to AHGS today (Friday) for a junior high career presentation. Ava spoke on her high school experience that helped to shape her education at Parkland College in the Industrial Technology: Welding Program. She provided many examples of her amazing welding work. The kids LOVED having her present. Thank you, Ava, for coming to present. We are very thankful to have you!
