Kyndall Crist in fifth grade reached her silver reading goal. Carter Bradshaw in fourth grade reached his red reading goal. Kolten Janowski also in fourth grade reached his bronze reading goal. Michelle Cook, Aubree Cox, and Jakob Jesse in second grade met their red reading goals. Aubree Reed in second grade met her gold reading goal. Maggie Petrie and Abigail Ziemet in second grade met their bronze reading goals. Reese Hall in second grade met her silver reading goal. We almost made our third quarter goal, only need 87 more books read.
Congratulations to Dawson and Macy. They were the winners of the Advertisement Contest. They created an ad for the Mountainview Inn to go with our district reading of The Mouse and the Motorcycle.

Dawson earned 200 knight bucks and got to have lunch with a teacher! I was so honored that he picked me (Mrs. Walker)! We had the best time eating, chatting, and playing Yahtzee together!

Tis' that time of year to start tapping trees for sugar. 8th-grade AHGS students learning how to tap maple trees and what that sap is used for. Did you know you can tap several different kinds of maples, not just sugar maples? 8th-graders do!
