Easter fun in 3rd grade today! Making Peep cages using area and perimeter skills, soaking Peeps in various liquids, learning how Peeps are made, and an Easter egg hunt!
Sign up for your student's school or sports physical. Douglas County Health Center is conducting school and sport physicals at all locations in Arthur CUSD #305. Cost is $10 for school physicals and $5 for sport physicals. Vaccinations will also be available. The dates and times are: AGS - 5/16/24 9am-4:30pm LGS - 5/29/24 12pm-7pm ALAH - 6/12/24 12pm-7pm AHGS - 8/7/24 9am-7pm. Congratulations to Layla! She has completed the "Joust Read" challenge by reading all 20 of the Monarch books. Her bitmoji character has earned a guest spot on the library website.

3/18/23: Today’s JH track meet and HS softball game have been canceled.
Aubrey Cox worked hard and earned 200 Knight Bucks so she got to eat lunch with a teacher! We played Sorry! and had so much fun! Way to go Aubrey!
First grader Fynn Molby earned 200 Knight bucks which earned him lunch with a staff member. He chose to have lunch with the principal, Mr. Forman. When we were finishing up, he said, "whelp, let's do this again this time next year!" Absolutely Fynn, Absolutely!
AHGS had a reading competition between the JH and staff. The staff out-read the Junior High in Caudill books so we chose to have the JH read to our K-2 students. The best thing about a reading competition is that READING wins!
Lovington Grade School teachers and students presented at last nights board meeting on the growth the students have made this school year. Very exciting to hear about their success. Great presentations!
