The AHGS 5th grade had a great time at the Illini Field Trip.
Tuesday, we honored our 8th grade girls basketball players and Coach Farmer for his coaching career as he coached his last home game. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our 8th graders and Coach Farmer.

Special, heartfelt thanks to our AH PTO for donating three entire collections of books to support the Joust Read program! This program introduces K-8 students to the Illinois Readers’ Choice books from the Monarch, Bluestem, and Caudill nominees.
I LOVE teaching students how to use the OPAC: Online Public Access Catalog. It is their first time learning how to search a database and it opens up a whole new world to them. #GoKnights
Our kindness challenge in 3rd grade today was to make a grateful list! The kids each made a list and then it was compiled into a word cloud. The bigger sized words means more kids wrote that on their list!
