Hello Scholastic Bowl Parents!
We got our information for the Okaw Valley Tournament for today, Thursday, March 13th.
As you know today is an early dismissal (12:15pm) for School Improvement Day. Scholastic Bowl students will need to be at Lovington Grade School no later than 3pm to board the bus, as we will be leaving the school parking lot at 3:05pm.
Our first match will be against Sullivan at 4pm. Tournament play is single elimination.
Since there is a good chance we will be spending a few hours in FindlayI will be bringing snacks for the students, but if they want to bring something to eat I would encourage it. Please remind your student to bring a book to read or homework to work on as well, just in case we need to wait on one of our sister schools to finish playing. I will have the students reach out as soon as we are on our way home to keep you all updated on our ETA.
We would love to see you all at the tournament to cheer our teams on; quietly of course.

Our PreK-2nd grade team just returned from an incredible teaching conference in Shaumburg, IL! 🤩 We're buzzing with new ideas and inspiration to bring back to our classrooms. It was two days filled with learning, collaboration, and a refreshed passion for shaping young minds. ✨️
