Dear Knights Nation,
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Coach Jerry Lane. Coach Lane has been an educator and coach for over 50 years and was serving as our head softball coach for our high school and junior high programs. We will share with you the details regarding services when they become available. Counselors will be available at all of our schools this week.

Kindergarten worked on their team work skills during PE today!

Artist of the Week this week is Alex Plank. Congrats!

Shout out to our PTO and Mrs. Rau for getting these beautiful flowers planted!

When your favorite principal walks in how can you not trample her with a group hug! You are very loved Mrs. Graham! 💜💚💛🩵🧡

Today third grade did a paper chain challenge! Working in partners they cut and built their chains with very little directions. They were given 20 minutes and two pieces of construction paper. The "winners" discovered that if they made skinny-long strips it was the best choice.

Some 8th graders down helping our 4th graders edit our personal narrative writing pieces.

More great choice makers!

We had another great time with Jim Wood from Sidney, Illinois. He came to talk to the 8th graders about the Civil War and show off his artifacts including a actual cannon used in the war!
