Good afternoon families,
If you have a 4th-8th grade student, have a current email on file, and your student was attending AGS at the time of testing last year, you have recently received an email on their scores for the previous year. We found that students performed well on multiple-choice questions, but struggled greatly in the writing component (which is 40% of the grade).
Please review those scores and discuss them with your student. We will test for this year beginning next week. I look forward to our students showing how much they have grown.

Kindergarten enjoyed having the junior high students come in and read to them yesterday! Thank you junior high students!

AGS Friday Note for March 15th, 2024. Have a wonderful break!

Kindergarten had a great time having 6th grade buddies read to us this afternoon. Many of these 6th graders were in this classroom not too long ago learning how to read themselves!

Lovington Grade School teachers and students presented at last nights board meeting on the growth the students have made this school year. Very exciting to hear about their success. Great presentations!
