
Second graders painted their own "Red" character from the Dr. Seuss book , "Hop on Pop" in Art class.





Third grade students created their own Cat in the Hat in celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday!




AGS Friday Note for March 31st, 2023



4th graders had an amazing time at the Engineering Open House. They were able to see new and upcoming technologies being developed at the U of I and even participate in interactive activities.





First graders used chalk to create Dr. Seuss Fish in art class!





Fifth grade students had fun creating Dr. Seuss Cities in Art class!




2nd Graders have been learning how to count change within a dollar. Before our test we played a fun game called "What's the EGGSact Amount?" We ALL got A's on our test, so Thursday we got to shop at Mrs. Floyd's Store with a dollar bill! Some even bought things for siblings! ❤️$$





On Monday March 27th the 2nd grade classes took a field trip to Sullivan. We visited Building 1225 where we all played and ate lunch. Then we went to The Little Theater to watch Seussical the Musical! It was a great day!!





Preschool got to celebrate St. Patrick's Day by having a full buffet of green foods! Broccoli, pickles, kiwi, green apples and grapes, cookies, cupcakes, and so much more! Everyone had so much fun and we got to try some new foods too!





St. Patrick's Day floats in kindergarten to kick off our spring break!

We are lucky at AGS because....we have good friends, our teachers are nice, we are safe, the food is good, we have lots of books and so much more!!

4th graders were busy trying to help Leroy McClumsy find his pot of gold. Students had to be super detectives with math skills to help them solve the case fast.





Mrs. Burdick loves having senior and future teacher, Chloe Franklin, spend a class period with her students!


Dental Bus Reminder: The Sarah Bush Lincoln Dental Bus will be at Arthur Grade School and ALAH High School this Friday, March 17 to see students who signed up for the dental bus services. This is the only day the dentist will be on the bus to do the exam.
