Today we held our school wide spelling bee and the winner was an eighth grade student. Congratulations to all the spellers that won their classroom bees and participated today. The top spellers from each grade will move into the Piatt county bee on Thursday in Cerro Gordo at 9.

The weather forecast for Wednesday is not looking good so we are postponing Freshman Orientation at ALAH High School. We are rescheduling for next Thursday, February 20th.

This is National School Counselor Week! At AHGS we want to take a moment and thank our wonderful counselor Mrs. Ward! We are blessed to have her in our building full time this year! She continues to make a difference in our student’s lives every day!
