Never miss a chance to catch snowflakes.
Ms. Hostetler received a $250 grant from Illinois Retired Teachers Association. They had 247 applications in 2020 and our project was one of the chosen recipients. Ms. Hostetler is going to use the money to buy Dot & Dash. They are little robotics that students can use for coding projects and to promote STEM in the classroom.

Place value practice.
Our new PBIS program that began at LGS this school year is a big hit! Our motto here is "BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE and BE a PROBLEM SOLVER". The students have been hard at work earning points every time they have displayed one of these positive "BE"haviors.
