Information for today's (Monday, March 22nd) JH Track Meet:
All athletes need to be at the HS foyer for wellness screenings from 3-3:15pm.
There are 2 spectators per athlete allowed to attend. Spectators are to follow the social distancing guidelines as well as wear masks.

Today 3rd grade did an Iditarod PE event to wrap up our Iditarod unit. Huge thank you to Mr. Kirkwood for creating Husky Hop and shoot hoops to Nome. We had a blast!


Scholastic bowl was at Okaw Valley tonight. Varsity finished 1-1 and JV finished 0-2 in a couple of close matches. Next Tuesday we will be in Arcola.

The preschoolers enjoyed their green buffet! We were super impressed that each kid tried every green food item we had! Pickles, green pear applesauce, green rice krispies, jello, sour cream and onion chips, veggie straws, aand andes mints!


Mrs. Branson’s first grade class sorted Lucky Charms, graphed the data and answered questions about their observations.

Congratulations to Camden Casteel and Aleena Ingram for completing their Reflex program! They are 100% fluent in addition and subtraction facts 0-10 as well as multiplication and division 0-12! Way to go!


Today the 2nd graders were little leprechauns who needed to escape the traps set up by students! Fun was had by all during our escape room and we all got out safely!




Today's Junior High Track meet is canceled due to weather conditions. There is also no track practice.

3rd grade is having some Spring Time fun today. We learned the history behind St Patrick's Day, listened to Irish Folklore music, and made 3-D rainbows. Huge thank you to Mrs. Morrow for sharing shaving cream with us for our art project!



Mrs. Luttrell's Kindergarten class had a visitor last night...Sprinkles MacDoodle was his name and mischief is his game!

We had our first scholastic bowl meet tonight. Both JV and Varsity finished 0-2, but for a group of 6th graders and one 8th grader who have never played before they held their own and did a great job! We will look to improve Thursday night at Okaw Valley.
