Third grade found out why an assembly line is so efficient when producing a product!! We made 55 cards in 30 minutes. We are learning about economics while spreading some cheer with our cards!
Fourth graders are learning how strong our baby chicks' shells are!!

Kirby Medical Center is offering a free summer program called HealthCARE Pathways, designed to provide hands-on learning and career exploration in the healthcare field. This program is perfect for students curious about future opportunities in healthcare and wanting to gain a better understanding of the different paths available.
Program Details (see flyer attached):
Dates: Thursdays— July 10, 17, 24, and 31
Time: 8:30 AM – Noon
Location: Kirby Medical Center, Monticello, IL
Cost: FREE
Target Audience: High school students (incoming freshmen through graduating seniors)
Focus: Hands-on activities, behind-the-scenes tours, and interactive sessions with healthcare professionals
We were so excited to travel to Sullivan today for our 2nd Grade Field Trip! First we played and had lunch with the other district 2nd graders at Building 1225, and then headed to see Shrek the Musical Jr at the Little Theater on the Square. It was the BEST day!! #GoKnights
