ALAH teachers and athletic director were honored at the May school board meeting last week by two of their students. Family and Consumer Science Teacher Ginger Voegel was honored with the FCCLA "Spirit of Advising" award at the 2025 Illinois FCCLA State Leadership Conference. Social Studies Teacher Doug Davis was chosen as the VFW District 11 "Teacher of the Year". Athletic Director and Assistant Principal Nathan Seal was named the 2025 Division 5 Athletic Director of the Year by the Illinois Athletic Director Association during their annual conference. Congratulations!

5th graders read a non fiction book about bridges in the library, did research on bridge types and created their own bridge. They did a great job!
