We had another great time with Jim Wood from Sidney, Illinois. He came to talk to the 8th graders about the Civil War and show off his artifacts including a actual cannon used in the war!

Third grade was thrilled with the new part of the playground!
Third grade worked hard to come up with addition and subtraction story problems today! We made them into a book for the students to take home and practice.
Preschool is loving learning about the digital microscope. They are learning why we use it and how we get it focused! The biggest highlight is seeing the maggots on the black walnuts. (No worries they are in ziplock baggies) Images include a black walnut and pinecone

If you are signing your child(ren) out tomorrow, or giving permission for them to be picked up by someone other than the parent/guardian, please call the office by Friday morning for planning purposes.
