3rd grade has created a DonorsChoose webpage devoted to STEM activities. This is a nonprofit classroom funding site. All donations received by Jan 16th are matched. If you'd like to help us out, go to donorchoose website. Type Ms Hostetler and Lovington, IL.


Brr it's so cold that 3rd grade has decided to head out west on the Oregon Trail. We have 3 families in our wagon train: The Dinonuggets, the White Fangs, and the Shadow Wolves. Be watching for updates on our travels.




U-Knight 305 will host the third Community Engagement Session for Arthur CUSD 305 facility planning on Wednesday, January 12th from 6-8 PM in the high school old gym. Please plan to attend and share your ideas with the community and the school. We hope to see you next Wednesday!

Preschool had a great Christmas party!





Students chose a Maker Party as their reward for filling up their gem jar. We made slime in the library!! Merry Christmas.

Congratulations to Donovan Smith for passing all of his sight word lists. He has been working hard all semester to achieve this goal. Im super proud of you!!

More holidays fun with 3rd & kindergarten. We made candy cane crystals, New Year's Resolution Mobiles, and played Christmas Bingo.

Our Junior High students finished their badminton unit by having a Christmas themed glow in the dark badminton day. The students really enjoyed it!





Vine Street Christian Church is providing a free Christmas Dinner. See attached image for details.


Kindergarten made elf beds for “Prep and Landing” using gum drops and toothpicks this morning.



Santa & Rudolph are checking that list. We are almost there LGS.


Kindergarten & 3rd grade enjoyed holiday activities together today. Everyone had a great time sharing holiday joy.
